Key Responsibilities:

Responsibility for planning, budgeting, purchasing, consulting, managing projects for existing and new hotels, co-ordinating maintenance and support, and vendor relationship management.

Ensure the compliance with the divisional technology standards and implementation of global corporate mandated technology systems.

Leading a team of 12 people.

Key Projects:

·           September 2001, opening of the “One” spa (health club) in Sheraton Grand, Edinburgh. Full management of the IT project from writing RFP’s, defining budgets, selecting suppliers, specific development requests, site installation and support.

·           September 2001, opening of  “The Westin Dublin”, 163 bedrooms hotel in the city centre. Full management of the IT project within a budget of $1 million. 15 different systems including: property management system, sales & catering, point of sales, food & beverage, telephone, accounting, purchasing, key system, minibars, …

·           EURO, project management, planning and leading on-site conversion to the Euro currency.

·           Y2K, management, follow-up and support in compliance with the company strategy and procedures.

·           May 1999, opening of  “The Hotel Kamp”, 170 bedrooms hotel in the city centre of Helsinki. First Micros Fidelio OPERA installation in Europe.
